Questions people ask us
Straight answers to the things families, participants and coordinators ask most. If your question is not here, call us.
Getting started
Do I need an NDIS plan before I contact you?
No. If you are still applying, or waiting for a plan, call us anyway. We can explain how our supports are usually funded, and be ready to start when your plan is approved.
Do I need to know which service I need?
No. Tell us what is happening day to day and we will suggest what might help. That is what the first conversation is for.
How quickly can support start?
It depends on the support, the times you need and finding the right worker. We will give you an honest timeframe on the first call rather than a promise we cannot keep.
Which areas do you cover?
We are based in Sunnybank Hills and support people in Brisbane. See the areas we serve page, or call us to check your suburb.
Plans and payment
Do you work with agency managed, plan managed and self managed participants?
Yes. Agency managed participants need a registered provider, which we are. Plan managed and self managed participants can also choose us.
How much does support cost?
Our prices sit within the limits set in the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits. We confirm the rates for your supports in writing before anything starts.
Will I have a service agreement?
Yes. We put the supports, schedule, prices and how to end the agreement in writing, and go through it with you before you sign.
Your support workers
Can I choose my support worker?
Yes. Tell us what matters to you and we match on it. You meet your worker before support starts, and you can ask for someone else at any time.
Will I see the same worker each time?
That is the aim. We keep a small, steady team around each person and tell you in advance if someone new is coming.
Are your workers screened?
Every worker who supports you must hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Check and follow the NDIS Code of Conduct.
Concerns and complaints
What if I am not happy with my support?
Tell us. We want to know, and raising a concern will never affect your support. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission on 1800 035 544.
Can I get help in another language?
Yes. Our team speaks Urdu, Hindi, Dari, Hazaragi and Persian as well as English. For any other language, call the Translating and Interpreting Service on 131 450 and ask them to call us on 0486 283 996. The service is free.
Still have a question?
Tell us a little about the person and the support they need. We will call back, listen, and tell you plainly what we can offer.
