Sunnybank Hills is home for us. Our base is here, which means the workers who support you are often a few minutes away, not across the city, and we know the streets, the shops and the bus routes you use.
Everyday support close to home
Most of what we do in Sunnybank Hills is practical, regular help at home: personal care in the morning, a weekly clean and change of linen, meals prepared for the days ahead. Because our workers are nearby, we can usually work around school runs, family visits and appointments rather than asking you to fit around us.
Getting out and about
Sunnybank Hills has shopping, parks and community facilities on the doorstep, and the Sunnybank and Altandi train stations are close by. Our workers know how long the drive to the QEII Hospital at Coopers Plains really takes at school pick-up time, and where to park when you have an appointment. We help people get to the shops, to appointments and to the activities they enjoy, either by driving them or by building the confidence to travel on their own.
Support in your language
Sunnybank Hills is one of the most culturally diverse suburbs in Queensland. Our team speaks Urdu, Hindi, Dari, Hazaragi and Persian as well as English, so many families can talk about personal care and family matters in the language they are most comfortable in. Tell us your preferred language when you get in touch and we will take it into account when we match you with a worker.
For any other language, the Translating and Interpreting Service can call us for you on 131 450.
Neighbouring suburbs
From our base in Sunnybank Hills we also support people in Sunnybank, Macgregor, Runcorn, Calamvale and Algester. If you live close by and are not sure whether we cover your street, call us and ask.
